I have dieted. I have lost weight, slowly… It is frustrating to restrict your eating and then get on the scale and not see it move at all. Progress like that makes giving in so easy. Wow! Huge fat loss. I can’t believe I lost 30 lbs in 38 days. Unbelievable if it wasn’t me. I came back from vacation and 3 weeks of over eating in need of some big help. Clearly, this is and was the perfect protocol. In fact, I have always had a problem with eating late at night and with sweets. I just love to eat in general. I lost a total of 34 lbs in 40 days.

Though I’ve played sports my entire life I’ve always struggled with weight. After high school I stopped playing organized sports and immediately started gaining weight. Over the course of 2 years I went from 210lbs to 260lbs!!!! At that point, I said “Oh man, NOT COOL… I gotta get more active”. So I began exercising more, eating less… trying and trying to lose weight. I would slowly lose a little bit and then gain it back… slowly lose a little bit and gain it back. I Have Been On The Fat Release System For 30 Days and Have Lost 18 Pounds Already And Still Losing!!

That Is More Than I Ever Could Have Hoped For, Given My Age (58), And My Thyroid Problems!!
I was fat and I was tired. My weight had been inching up for the last 18 years, and at 176 pounds I hardly recognized myself. When I turned 40 I got graves disease which makes the thyroid gland overactive and the only “cure” for it was to kill the thyroid with radioactive iodine. Jan: Hello everybody. This is Jan Hrkach. I have May on the phone, and May has been using the HCG Fat Release System. May, how are you doing today?
May: I’m excellent. I feel thin and happy.
Jan: Well, that’s appropriate for this conversation then. So, May, how long have you been using the HCG Fat Release System approximately?
May: This is my 37th day, so I’m near the end of Phase Two.
Jan: Oh, good. 37 days. And tell us, how are you doing on losing pounds?
May: I’m doing great. I hit my 20 pound mark.
Jan: Okay.
May: So I’m very happy with that. After just over a month, 20 pounds is amazing for me.
Jan: Right. And if you had a goal in mind where you would want to be, what would your optimum loss be?
May: Optimum loss is going to be 50 pounds so I’ve got another 30 to go. I will be starting up this diet again once I’m done with the maintenance phase, which is about – I guess a six-week period where your body resets itself.
Jan: Okay. So then you’ll do two bouts and hopefully…
May: Then I should be there.
Jan: You should be there, fantastic. Okay. I wanted to kind of pick your brain and find out how your experience was, so let’s start at the beginning which is going through the material that you get with the system. You read the material and then you’re going to get into Phase One of the first part. So let’s talk a little bit about that, how that worked for you and then we’ll kind of just walk the listener through your experience.
May: Okay. Well, the material was extremely helpful. I read it, read it, read it. I read through Dr. Simeon’s Pounds and Inches as well once but found myself referring to the more concise material that came with the protocol.
Jan: The Fat Release Guide?
May: The Fat Release Guide. I tried to religiously follow it but it was a learning process. A lot of it you just have to jump into and do your best. I think that one thing I would do differently in the future is the Phase One loading days.
I didn’t understand that on the first two days where you take the drops and eat fat foods on purpose, you do so to completely fill your fat stores. And I didn’t do that. So, I had a bit harder of a time at the beginning part of the Phase Two very low calorie diet. You can expect that if you don’t load to capacity you might be hungry for a few days. For me it was a like a week and a half of off and on hunger until I really got into the very low calorie diet.
Jan: Right.
May: And from there it was a breeze. I didn’t have hunger pangs. I didn’t really crave anything.
Jan: Okay.
May: In that respect, it’s just been so easy because you really are resetting your brain. In the future, I will read a bit more carefully, load to capacity and I’m sure it would be much easier.
Jan: Do you think, looking back during the two days of loading, while you start the drops, could you have eaten more, do you think?
May: Yeah.
Jan: Or were you feeling like you couldn’t eat more?
May: Well, you know, I ate a lot when I ate, but because I was traveling, I only had three huge meals within those first two days. I ate as much as possible until I was nearly sick of eating, but really I should have spread it out throughout the days.
Jan: Right.
May: Even healthier fatty foods like avocado and cheese and stuff at several points within the two days would have been preferable to just the two or three binging meals that I had.
Jan: Sure. So the cycle is, two of those days of loading and then you go into the third day which would be, where you’re going to start the low caloric diet and how was day three then for you?
May: Day three was actually a bit of a relief. After I had eaten all of that horrible food for a couple of days, I was happy to latch onto the much healthier diet. But a note on the food. At first blush, when you’re looking at this list of food that is allowed, it seems like it’s going to be restrictive, but you know, it wasn’t. It was really good stuff and when you think that, okay, you can have one lean protein choice and one vegetable choice and then your bread and your fruit, when you change it up from meal to meal, it’s wonderful and got me back in touch with cooking and back in touch with a level of portion control that had become alien to me. I’m very happy with the diet.
Jan: I had another conversation a while back with Heather and she talked about how it was interesting to recognize that she didn’t have to eat so much and then the alternative for spicing or modifying the food was more like, wow, I could’ve been doing this all along.
May: Yes.
Jan: You know. When you’re taking the drops on the low caloric diet, it tends to really curb the hunger, right?
May: Yes, it does. I had a weird day where I was far from home and didn’t have my drops with me. I know that it was still in my system even though I missed the drops for 24 hours, but I had hunger pangs and it was really a challenge to get through the day.
Jan: Not keeping the drops consistent in your body.
May: Yes.
Jan: So that’s something we want to do morning, mid-day and then evening, right?
May: Yes. It’s better to stay consistent with the time of the day that you take your drops. Once every five and a half, six hours are the best for me, three times a day.
Jan: Okay.
May: If you start at eight in the morning, try to keep it at eight in the morning every day, because if you do it too late at night, well, you might experience some hunger the following morning or late at night.
Jan: Right. So I guess what I hear you say and it makes complete sense, get your body used to that cycle. And I’ve heard that when people are consistent that it’s really predictable when they’re going to be hungry again.
May: Exactly. So you can plan for it. I just can’t believe the comfort level of this. I was really expecting to be horribly inconvenienced but I was going to do it anyway. It’s been fun and I feel very empowered and in charge of my weight loss for once. But I will say that I did cheat one day. I felt terrible that I did it, and it was early on in Phase Two I guess, while on the low caloric diet.
Jan: Right.
May: And I noticed that I didn’t necessarily gain weight the next day, but I didn’t lose weight for three days. It’s better to be good about it, otherwise you are wasting your own time. It’s not worth it to cheat on this program.
Jan: And the cheat day was more just because you felt like it? Not like you had to have something?
May: No, I wasn’t experiencing any cravings. I was at a restaurant with a relative who’s one of those “eat, eat, eat” people and I was like, ‘oh gosh’, and just did it.
Jan: Okay. It was the peer pressure.
May: It’s hard to argue with someone who is hard of hearing in public.
Jan: Okay. So now you’ve got just three days left for this cycle of 40 days.
May: Yes.
Jan: It’s a 40 day or a 23 day cycle and then you’re going to have a maintenance phase. Just speak to that a little bit so people know what you’ll be doing.
May: Sure. Well, I’m excited about it. For my maintenance phase, the first three days into it, I keep with the low caloric diet. For these three days, even though I won’t be taking the drops, The Fat Release System is still in your system. After the third day, I can start adding cheese and dairy to my diet. Although menu selections are still limited to some degree, I can mix vegetables and have larger portions, but stay away from grains and starches. I have to re-read this bit, but I believe you can have a small amount of starches. Better to avoid it because it may diminish any further weight loss and potentially pack it back on you. During this period, if I did gain more than two pounds within one day, that’s when you go into the steak day. I think everyone’s read about the steak day.
Jan: Right.
May: It is a one-day diet to bring your weight back down to where it should be and then you continue on with the maintenance phase.
Jan: Okay. So if you get a little out of control, that brings you back into check?
May: Precisely.
Jan: I have spoken to several people that have been through the third phase and they have stories about how it tends to reset their metabolism in some unique way, and how their whole view on eating has changed. They also tend to be drawn to a more healthy diet, and this is what is going to be the long term solution.
May: Right. It’s a life-changing experience; it’s not just a quick fix and then you go back to poor eating habits. Even now, I don’t have cravings for the oily fatty stuff that I really used to go for. I didn’t realize how badly I was eating.
Jan: Yes.
May: I already gravitate more towards – well, gosh, I’m looking forward to just having a chef’s salad, for crying out loud. I can’t wait to mix veggies again.
Jan: Good.
May: And I can see how that would just be progressive. I’m excited to see how my food preferences will be in the future.
Jan: Well, you and your story rings true with a lot of the other stories around this process and the stories are very congruent. Everyone’s a little bit different, and that’s why it’s nice for me to talk to a few different people, but, there are common themes that show up in every conversation that seems to be consistent with the process. Everybody’s going to process things a little bit differently because we are different.
But the results seem to be the same. If you stick to it, everyone seems to be getting a substantial result and it seems to be very manageable, compared to a strict fasting diet, because certainly with the homeopathic HCG, it signals our body to start burning that fat quickly, to add to our daily food intake, we kind of eat ourselves, away.
Thanks, May. So you’re going to cycle out here at 40 days and take a sabbatical, if you will, and then eat cleanly and come back for another cycle. Hopefully, you’ll eat your 50 pounds, which I’m sure you will.
May: I think I will.
Jan: Yeah, I think Phase Two will probably be a little bit more effective for you when you do the cycle again. I’ve heard that when people are trying to lose a lot of weight, that the second time they do it is more effective because they have a better sense of what they’ve done; they know more what to expect.
May: Well, exactly. And basically, you know, it’s a no brainer. Don’t cheat. Follow the directions.
Jan: Right.
May: Stick to the diet.
Jan: And it works, right?
May: Right.
Jan: Well, with those words in mind, I’ll leave you with that, but I’m sure everyone will get a little bit of insight to the diet from listening to your perspective.
May: Okay.
